Meet Halle McCormick

​

Shortly after ending a career as a Senior Account Director with a large sales and marketing firm, Halle began pursuing a career in the fitness industry, and continues to thrive in this industry today as a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. As a Division 1 collegiate tennis player, movement has always been an uplifting and important part of her life. She actually likes to think of herself not as a trainer but a coach, helping people unlock their potential and maximize their performance. She does not just want to “train” but provide support and inspiration so people can be stronger, more confident and fulfilled. Halle is passionate about fitness and dedicated to making it fun and engaging. She wants to ensure that people leave her class, training session and her mindset & movement workshops feeling a strong sense of accomplishment and empowerment. Halle has completed 10 marathons, including the Boston Marathon, 2 Half-Ironman races, and countless running races and triathlons. Halle lives in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and has 3 children.

Our youth are faced with increasing societal pressures and challenges and many are struggling with them on a daily basis.  Today’s culture is impacted by social media, taking selfies, using filters, etc. that are setting up unrealistic expectations bombarding our kids all day every day.

  • 42% of teens experience persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness (CDC)​

  • 22% of teens have seriously considered attempting suicide (APA)

  • 51% of youth, ages 6-17 receive treatment for mental health conditions(s) in any given year (National Alliance on Mental Health)

  • 50% of all lifetime mental illnesses begin at age 14 (National Alliance on Mental Illness)​

​

  • 1 in 4 teenagers will have a traumatic experience/ event by the age of 16

​

Teens and young adults rely heavily on their phones and social media for connection and validation (teens spend an average of 7 hours in front of a screen each day); which has been proven to negatively affect their confidence and self worth.


As mothers and Division 1 athletes, we were horrified by the above stats and chose to do something about it through the creation of our Power 2 Believe/P2B Mindset and Movement Workshops. 

 

Our P2B Workshops provide the combination of Sara’s P2B mindset tools and Halle’s focus on physical movement.  Combining mindset and movement, and our energies, provides the strong connection between the two.  Movement creates energy, energy creates momentum, momentum pushes us forward and when we are moving forward we feel fulfilled.

 

The P2B Workshops dive deep into what fear truly is (False Evidence Appearing Real) and how fear can knock us out of alignment (we show them how to realign quickly!) and build confidence not arrogance (confidence is a skill! It must be taught and practiced).

 

Attendees of the workshops will walk away with a newfound sense of self, and the ability to treat themselves as their own best friend. Your teens/tweens will follow our P2B mission: GET OUT of their heads, GET OFF their phones, CONNECT within and EMPOWER their lives.

A 3% processing fee is added to all credit card transactions, and Zelle and Venmo payments are accepted at published pricing.
If the number of individuals attending an event exceeds 10 people, additional fees will apply. These fees will be determined based on the final attendee count and will be communicated in advance of the event.

The Power Hour with Sara Goggin Young and Halle McCormick was the perfect combination of movement linked with mindset. This Power 2 Believe Workshop was a quick way for me personally to reset and recharge before the holidays. The movement portion was engaging and energizing, while the deep belly breathing and meditation was so calming with positive messages throughout!  - Maureen
